Abstract

A short survey of primary, secondary, tertiary, and quaternary structures of insulin is presented. Also supersecondary and crystal structures are briefly described. A special attention is paid to a variety of natural and artificial insulin analogues. Finally, computer-aided molecular modelling is mentioned as a modern method of protein study.
